Where the games are

Forts only lists lobbies running your own build, so you cannot see where the players actually are. This counts every build at once.

Counted at 2026-10-01 02:15:21 UTC. 3093 count(s) kept. Build 1.38.2 only — the live one.

A full lobby that has not started is still agreeing on map, teams and commanders, and players leave during that constantly, so those seats open up. Counting only the open lobbies understates how many games there are to get into.

Ranked and casual

Forts marks each lobby as ranked or not, and these counts are that mark read straight back — not a guess from the player count or the map. Every lobby in this count is included, whichever build it is running.

Over time

Lobbies open and close constantly, so a single count covers one moment only. Lobbies per host region, every count since 2026-09-28 19:46:18 UTC.

When to log on

Every count since 2026-09-28 19:46:18 UTC, averaged into the hour of the day it was taken. Darker is busier, and each row is shaded against its own busiest hour, so a quiet region still shows its rhythm. Hours are UTC; the last column is the busiest one.

And where the hosts are

Matches routinely span regions, and a neutral host is often picked to split the latency evenly. The ping column is the median, across this count's lobbies in the region, of each host's ping to its nearest Steam relay: how well connected the hosts are, not your ping to them.

What this is, and what it is not

This is a count of the public lobby list the platform already publishes — the same list the game shows you, without the game's own filter that hides other builds. Nothing here joins a lobby, creates one, sends anything to one, or touches a match in progress. It is names and numbers off a public board.
